Training Course Bookings Terms and Conditions
1. Course Bookings
All course bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions. By booking a course with Advance Medical Transport Services (AMTS), participants acknowledge and agree to these terms.
2. Booking and Payment
Payment for the courses is required in advance. For orders via phone payment will be taken at the time of the order. To secure a place on any course, full payment is required. Failure to make timely payment may result in the loss of the reserved spot, and AMTS reserves the right to offer the space to another participant.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing with AMTS, you can only pay for courses using a debit card or credit card. We accept payment by Visa and MasterCard.
3. Course Cancellations by AMTS
AMTS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course under the following circumstances:
Insufficient Enrolment – If the minimum number of participants is not met.
Instructor Unavailability – Due to unforeseen circumstances affecting the course instructor.
Operational Issues – Including but not limited to venue unavailability, technical issues, or any other logistical challenges.
Force Majeure – Events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
Notification of Cancellation
AMTS will notify all registered participants of a course cancellation as soon as reasonably possible.
Notices will be sent via the contact details provided at the time of registration.
Refund Policy
If AMTS cancels a course, participants will be entitled to:
A full refund of the course fee paid, or
The option to transfer their booking to a future course at no additional cost.
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days using the original payment method.
Liability
AMTS shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by participants due to a course cancellation, including but not limited to travel and accommodation expenses.
AMTS’ total liability for any course cancellation shall be limited to the refund of the course fee paid.
4. Cancellations by Participants
If you need to cancel your enrolment in a course, the following refund policy applies:
Cancellation a Week or Less Before the Course Start Date
If you cancel within 7 days of the course start date, no refund will be provided.
Cancellation More Than a Week Before the Course Start Date
If you cancel more than 7 days before the course start date, you may be eligible for a partial refund:
50% refund if cancelled at least 14 days before the course start date.
30% refund if cancelled between 8 and 13 days before the course start date.
Refund Process
Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 10 business days using the original payment method.
Any transaction fees incurred during payment or refund processing may be deducted from the refund amount.
5. General Terms
5.1 Participant Conduct
All participants must adhere to AMTS policies and procedures while attending the course.
AMTS reserves the right to remove any participant from a course if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or unsafe. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
5.2 Personal Belongings
AMTS is not responsible for any personal belongings lost or damaged during the course. Participants are advised to take appropriate care of their personal property.
5.3 Course Adjustments
AMTS will take reasonable steps to ensure that courses are delivered as advertised; however, the company reserves the right to make necessary adjustments, including changes to course content, instructors, venue, or scheduling.
Any such changes will be communicated as soon as practicable.
6. Equality and Diversity
AMTS is committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. We strive to provide a learning environment that is accessible to all participants.
Reasonable adjustments will be made for individuals with disabilities, including but not limited to those with dyslexia, to ensure equal participation in the course.
Participants requiring adjustments should inform AMTS at the time of booking or as soon as possible to allow appropriate accommodations to be arranged.
7. Personal Data Protection
AMTS is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all participants. Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for administrative purposes, including course registration, communication, and compliance with legal obligations.
Personal data will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except where required by law.
Participants have the right to request access to their personal data, request corrections, or request its deletion by contacting AMTS directly.
8. Qualsafe Training
AMTS courses are conducted in partnership with Qualsafe, a recognised training provider. All quali.cations and certi.cations obtained through AMTS courses are accredited by Qualsafe.
Participants are expected to comply with both AMTS and Qualsafe policies and procedures throughout their training.

9. Disputes
AMTS is committed to delivering high-quality training and customer service.
If a participant wishes to raise a complaint regarding any aspect of the course, they should do so in writing to AMTS within 14 days of course completion.
AMTS will investigate all complaints thoroughly and aim to provide a response within 14 working days.
If we cannot resolve the complaint within 30 days of it being received, then you and AMTS shall act in good faith to agree on and implement a method of alternative dispute resolution.
If a resolution cannot be reached, participants may escalate their concerns to Qualsafe, following their complaints procedure.

10. Intellectual Property
All course materials provided by AMTS remain the intellectual property of the company and must not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without prior written consent.
11. Agreement to Terms
By booking a course with AMTS, participants con.rm that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
AMTS reserves the right to amend these terms at any time as necessary, and any updates will be made available to participants accordingly.
12. Force Majeure
AMTS will not be liable or responsible for any failure or delay or for the consequences of any failure or delay in the performance of any of our obligations under this Contract if it is due to any event beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God, war, industrial disputes, protests, storm, tempest explosion, an act of terrorism, national emergencies and pandemics (“Force Majeure Event”).
If a Force Majeure Event takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under the Contract:
(a) we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you, and
(b) our obligations under the Contract will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Force Majeure Event. Where the Force Majeure Event affects our delivery of Goods to you, we will arrange a new delivery date for the Goods with you after the Force Majeure Event is over.
If the Contract is affected by a Force Majeure Event which has continued for more than 60 days, either you or AMTS may cancel the Contract by giving notice in writing to the other. Both you and AMTS must take all reasonable steps to mitigate any loss caused by the Force Majeure Event.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or in respect of the implied warranties contained in the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Under no circumstances will AMTS be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence, breach of statutory duty, restitution or otherwise) for any damage or direct, indirect, or consequential loss (all three of which terms include, without limitation, pure economic loss or loss of pro.ts, sales, business, revenue, depletion of goodwill and like loss) howsoever caused.
AMTS’s total liability to you for all losses arising under or in connection with the Contract will be limited in all circumstances to the amount paid for the course concerned.
