What is FREC 3?
FREC 3 will teach you the life-saving skills and techniques of a first responder within a pre-hospital setting.

FREC 3 is suitable for people who require training above First Aid: people with medical responsibility at work, or in voluntary or community activities. FREC 3 is also the entry-level stage of the First Responder Emergency Care (FREC) pathway.

How will I learn?
The course is a mixture of theory and practical sessions throughout the week to enable student to learn in styles that are most comfortable for them.

FREC4 Entry Requirements
In date FREC3 certificate and 118 of CPD/pre course learning.

What is FREC4
FREC 4 will teach you the advanced life-saving skills and techniques of a responder within a pre-hospital setting.

FREC 4 is suitable for people who require advanced training, for example, remote medical work or high dependency ambulance crews.

ILS (Immediate Life Support)

Advanced Medical Transport Services is a Qualsafe Awards registered provider of FREC4 ILS Immediate Life Support.

What is ILS (Immediate Life Support)
Learners who have successfully completed the QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF)) are required to complete the Immediate Life Support course annually, as well as a CPD portfolio, to keep their FREC 4 valid.

Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.

During this 1 day course, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, shock, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries. The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency Medical Gases (RQF) has been specifically designed for those who have a responsibility for providing treatment to patients who need medical gases administrating in Prehospital care environments, such as: those working in the police force, fire service or private ambulance sector.
